Recruitment of Probationary Officers – Special Drive to clear backlog of OBC vacancies – 2011-12
Andhra Bank invites applications for the post of Probationary Officers from Indian citizens who belongs to OBC category and who have taken the Common Written Examination for Probationary Officers/Management Trainees conducted by IBPS in 2011-12 and have a valid Score card issued by IBPS.

Qualification : Graduate in any discipline with I class with 60% marks OR equivalent CGPA from any University recognized by UGC or equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Government of India.

(b) For Persons with Disabilities: Authorised Certifying Authority will be Medical Board at the District level. The Medical Board
consists of Chief Medical Officer, Sub-Divisional Medical Officer in the District and a member who is a specialist in Orthopaedics, ENT or Ophthalmology, as the case may be,
Selection Procedure : Selection for the post of `Probationary Officer‟ will be made on the basis of performance in Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS in September 2011/November 2011and Group Discussion and/Interview.
Group Discussion/ Interview : Depending upon the number of vacancies, the Bank reserves the right to call only those candidates who have sufficiently high IBPS score in the stipulated Common Written Examination for Group Discussion and/ Interview.
The total marks for Interview will be 35. Candidates have to obtain 14 marks to qualify in the Interview.
