Sub Inspector and Constable Vacancies In CRPF

One of the largest of India’s Central Armed Police Force is called Central Reserve Police Force or CRPF. It was formed on 27th July 1939. Government of India under the aegis of Ministry of Home Affairs operates and manages all its functions. CRPF has 210 battalions with 1200 constables in each battalion. Its duty is to maintain law and order and also it contain insurgency. It was formerly known as Crown Representative’s Police. Its head office is in New Delhi. It has 207 Bn, 37 group centres, 2 CWS, 11 Training Institutions, 7 AWS, 3 SWS, 17 composite hospitals of 50 beds and 100 bedded 4 composite hospitals.

CRPF needs intelligent and dedicated candidates. And for this, applications are invited from Indian Nationals for the post of Constables and Sub Inspectors in CRPF. Last to apply is 13th February 2012 and mode of application is offline only.

Candidates has to send a recent passport size attested photograph and photocopies of certificates of educational qualification, age, caste and experience along with the application form. More instructions and details about the posts are given below.

8 vacancies are for the post of Sub Inspector in Civil department and 34 posts are for Constables/ Pioneer in the trade of Mason.

Pay scale: Post of SI is under the pay scale of Rs.9300-34800/- with grade pay of Rs.4200/-, while Constable/ Pioneer is under the pay scale of Rs.5200-20200/- along with Rs.2000/- as grade pay.

Age limit: Age limit should be between 21-30 years for SI and it should be between 18-23 years for the post of Constables.

Educational qualification: Candidates interested in the post of Sub Inspector must have passed Intermediate examination and must be holding minimum 3 years of diploma in Civil Engineering. While 10th pass certificate and at least 1 year of experience in the trade of mason is required for the post of Constables/ Pioneer.
